Dana Gardner is a Financial Planner and registered Independent Financial Advisor with Willamette Financial Advisors. Dana has been serving clients since 1996, and in 2003, she joined our team. She provides Financial Planning Services with an emphasis on investments, wealth management, and retirement. One of Dana’s core values is helping clients match their investments to their values. That’s why many of her clients seek her advice and expertise in identifying investments that use Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) screening criteria in their investment process. In addition to her work with the individual investor, Dana also serves as an investment advisor for medium to small 401(k) retirement plans. Most of Dana’s clients reside in the Pacific Northwest, but she also has clients across the country.
Dana focuses on providing independent and objective advice that adheres to the Fiduciary Standard. She helps her clients identify their financial goals and investment risk tolerance and time horizons, and helps them develop long term strategies to attain their goals. Dana specializes in offering advice on portfolio allocation, financial planning, individual retirement planning, college funding, asset management, insurance analysis and retirement plans for businesses, including SIMPLE and SEP IRAs, and 401(k)s.
Previously, Dana had worked in the banking industry, owned a small business, and had over seven years of management experience in the natural food industry. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance and Sociology from the University of Oregon. Dana holds state insurance licenses for providing life, disability, annuity, and long term care coverage in Oregon, Washington, and California.
As a native of Oregon, Dana enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, mountain climbing, and hiking. She also enjoys traveling, which she believes enhances her appreciation for people of different cultures and beliefs.
